Ami White - Everyone Makes Mistakes

When you help me to be strong,
People try and knock me down,
When you help me to be happy,
People turn it to a frown.

I feel I can't get things right,
I make mistakes, big mistakes,
God tells me I can get it right,
And everyone does make mistakes.

I'm stuck and all I hear are,
Voices in my head,
The words 'yes' and 'no',
Go round and round.

I shout HELP HELP,
And nobody hears,
Then all of a sudden,
I AM HERE!

I wonder where did that come from,
I look, look around,
High and low, low and high,
Then my heart beats faster and faster.

I realise Jesus Christ,
Is here in my heart,
Helping me all the time,
Through happiness and pain.
