Synopsis :
Stephen Ashe, ténor du barreau, vient de gagner un important procès dans une affaire de meurtre. Il a obtenu, à grand peine, la libération d'Ace Wilfong, un gangster notoire. Malheureusement pour lui, sa fille Jan, qui a assisté à de nombreuses séances du procès, s'est amourachée du gangster....
