American Express Set To Expand
Description
American Express ($AXP@US) plans to hire 1,500 software engineers, coders, and developers. The company expects revenue to increase 25% as the pandemic winds down and consumers return to shopping and dining out. The card issuer has already added nearly 3,600 technical workers this year and plans to add more before the end of the year. About 60% of the hires will be in the U.S., with about 30% in India and the remainder in Europe.
