American Confidence In Crypto

Crypto confidence among Americans is on the decline, according to a survey conducted by Bankrate. While the drop is across all generations, it’s most notable in millennials, who were once crypto's most fervent supporters. Nearly 30% of American investors between the ages of 26 and 41 feel comfortable in 2022, compared to nearly 50% in 2021. “It is a lot easier to be enthusiastic and believe in something when you see the value going up continually,” says Greg McBride, CFA, Bankrate’s chief financial analyst. “But the real test of belief comes when the chips are down, and a lot of investors have realized they now feel differently about investing in cryptocurrency.”
