America Marching On

America Marching On is the story of American progress and innovation. It tells to story of a miller and his helper who come up with the idea of getting investors into their mill and how those investors help the mill go from a small operation to a big outfit over the years. With not only the mill improving but everyone involved with it's way of life too. Lots of stock footage of industry fills this short. The story is a bit light for it's era on national pride. It also does not get too preachy about employer/labor relations. It seems to do it's best to avoid it where it can and focus more on consumerism. Needless to say it is a piece of crap and that is why we riffed it. It was not easy but we did it anyway.
