AMC Networks Reports Better Q3

Broadcasting Cable reports that AMC Networks reported higher profits in the third quarter.
The news comes as losses of AMC's international divisions fell.
Net income for the third-quarter rose 28% to $111 million, or $1.93 per share, from $87 million, or $1.35 per share a year ago.
Revenues rose 7.5% to $697 million.
Distribution revenue rose 5% to $361 million.
Advertising revenues rose 0.9% to $200 million as higher pricing offset lower audience delivery.
