Amberlee Carter - Terminal
0 Views • Jun 12, 2014
Description
her and my niece are leaving for a week
to the coast.
She’s developed a fondness for flying
every since that trip she took
to the Burzynski clinic in Texas,
with that bastard who eventually died
and left her nothing,
nothing to compensate
for a motivated, driven woman
who put her own life on hold, to devote
herself to curing his cancer.
Their plane leaves the terminal at 12: 50
and arrives in California at 1: 10,
it’s an hour and twenty minute flight-
strange thing this business of time;
you can go from here to there and gain something,
but when you go from there to here,
you lose everything.
