amber hester - like a baby eagle

I have reached that time in my life to where I am like a baby eagle about to spread its wings and fly off to test the air. Leaving my nest and jumping off the cliff, not knowing the out comes. Getting ready for the jump is the hardest step. But not knowing if I am capable of even opening my wings in the air. What if I go crashing to the ground and hit rock bottom? I mean what if I get frightened when I jump and forget how to open my wings?
It’s finally that time to spread my wings and fly away… am I really ready? As much as we all may think we are ready to be like the baby eagle to finally spread its wings and fly away, we need to take a step back and make sure we know what we are doing, and if we are thinking. I just don’t know how to jump off the branch. My fear of heights may step in the way. Maybe it is like the sermon preached at Superwow, “Dive in the deep water”. We can’t always be afraid of what is ahead but we need to put it in God’s hands. He will take care of us. On the other hand, it is still hard to just jump not know if we are going to hit the rock bottom surface beneath us.
