I discovered the other day
my heart had been stolen, taken away
by a man I met a month ago
my heart says yes, but my mind says no

Mind:
you're moving to fast!
don't let yourself forget about the past

Heart:
He's not like the other guys
you haven't caught him in any lies
let me, your heart, be your guide
and in him, you can confide

Mind:
but beware of me, your mind
I have a tendency to find
reasons for him not to stay
and you'll try to push him away

Heart:
but let your heart guide you, and give him a chance
and you minght find true love and romance! ! !
