Description
According to Gizmodo, Amazon will no longer let viewers vote on which TV pilot episodes they would like to see become full-length shows. While at the Television Critics Association’s press tour, Amazon Studios chief Jennifer Salke said, "We’ll use our own testing barometers and some user data but the public voting process has been set aside for now.” Amazon’s co-head of TV Albert Cheng adds that the problem was not the voting so much as the amount of time involved in getting a new series rolling. Cheng explains, "One of the things we learned is it took too long to get shows customers wanted. You need up taking way too long to get the actual season done.”
