Amazon opens online pharmacy, shaking up industry

Amazon is shaking up yet another industry,... this time, with a pharmacy.
The American retail giant opened an online drugstore on Tuesday.
The platform allows customers to order medication,... and have it delivered right to their door.
For prescription refills,... shoppers will need to have their doctors send prescriptions to the retailer.
The move comes as more people shop online due to COVID-19,... and Amazon saw the opportunity to expand its infinite selection of products.
The industry is already seeing the ripple effect,.. with stocks of big pharmacy chains like CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid all seeing a decline.
