Amazon Expands Remote Work Options
Description
Amazon ($AMZN@US) now plans to offer its office employees more flexibility when it comes to returning to worksites. Individual team directions will determine In-office workdays, and the company expects some teams to return to the office while others continue remote work or strike a balance between the two. In June, Amazon said employees would be expected to return to the office part-time once coronavirus restrictions in their region were lifted. At the time, Amazon was expected to return to an office-focused work culture this fall with employees in the office three days per week. Corporate employees would have the option of working remotely for up to four weeks per year. The company is intentionally not prescribing how many days or which days will be in office.
