Amazon Echo Rolls Out Whisper Feature For Alexa

The Amazon Echo now has a feature that allows Alexa to speak to you in a whisper. According to Business Insider, the speaker can detect if you talk to it in a whisper and will whisper back. Although the feature was announced in September it finally became available on October 18. A whisper option would be useful for quiet situations, such as when someone else is asleep in the room. Amazon said this feature is part of their efforts to make Alexa respond and speak more naturally.
