Amatulla Mohammadi - Picture Frames

Picture frames of arrested moments,
maiden steel of ornate designs,
in black and white and colour faces,
of evergreen trees against
the static clouds of the sleeping sky,
of happy smiles on faces still,
against places we've once been,
the breeze is frozen in this ocassion,
recorded between the glass panes,
bright lights illuminate the
receding sunshine on this frame,
of moments gone, we hold memoirs,
creating memories within
these framed glimpses of life;
that promise to create a smile,
these picture frames of moments lived....
