ਕੋਟਕਪੂਰਾ ਵਰਗੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਘਟਨਾ ਦਾ ਸਾਵਧਾਨੀ ਤੇ ਸਮਝਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਹੱਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਸੀ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇਸਦੇ ਉਲਟ ਰਸਤਾ ਅਪਣਾਇਆ ਤੇ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ; ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਤੇ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਿਗਾੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪੰਜਾਬ 'ਚ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਤੇ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਮਾੜੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਲਈ ਸਿਰਫ ਬਾਦਲ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹਨ।

The ghastly Incident of Kotakapura needed to be handled with more care, cautioun and sensibility, as it is related to the religious sentiments of people. But Badal govt. chose to do just the opposite and made the situation worse; totally disrupting the peace and harmony in the state. Mr. Badal is solely responsible for this disastrous deterioration of law and order situation in Punjab.
