I love you the way you are
There’s nothing you need to change
You’ll always be the perfect you,
There’s nothing to rearrange

Without you by my side
Colors seem to fade
Music loses rhythm
And my heart fails to beat

Time tends to slow
And the days grow long
I feel alone and by myself
In till I’m in your arms

I try to mask the pain
With endless phony smiles
But you pull the uber smile right out of me
And make all my fears perish into thin air

You cut through the thorns
That have taken my heart hostage
And you took a broken heart
And made it complete again

I prayed and pleaded for something like you
But I never thought you were standing in front of me
You took me by surprise in my moment in need
And you watched me cry and wiped away the hurt of saying goodbye

You made me see what I could be
Gave all that you could, wanted nothing in return
You Filled my head with I cans and I wills
And make me fall head over heels in love with you
Time after time again and again
