Life is like a rose
Full of glamour and shine
The color, clear and always true
The pedals, thick and full of life
The smell, pure and so fresh.

It's like life...

Your Love, clear and always true
Your personality, thick and full of life
Your relations, pure and so fresh.

But there is also evil in a rose
Just think of the thorns...

Sharp and strong
Like the nightmares you have
Like a tear, ready to fall
Like your heart, breaking for the first time
Even like a papercut, on your hand.

Life is like a rose.

Clear and always true
Thick and full of life
Pure and so fresh

And yet, it's still
Sharp and strong
Ready to come back at you.
