Amanda Benoit - Dysfunctional Family

Everywhere I go
I feel like everybody knows
Does it really show?
My mom is berserk
My dad is a jerk
They make this family so broken
Even when nothings been spoken
They fight, they bite, they yell!
I feel like everyone can tell!
Why do they have to be this way?
Why can’t they see this isn’t working?
Why can’t they see that this Family
Needs some major reworking?
I feel like everyone has to pay
When they fight…
Sometimes they fight all day and night!
I wish they could see the light!
I want them to see how blighted they
Have made this family…
I just want to tell them to
STOP IT AND DROP IT
But I’m afraid what would happen
I’ve already paid too much
To do such a thing…
I guess they’ll just go on fighting
And I guess I must listen
As they turn this once functional family
In to a dysfunctional one…
