Looking down at the ground
she doesn't understand
the red stains
on her hands
the frozen, lifeless silhouette
the sirens in the distance

She notices a difference
at her side
something that was
, , once, ,
always there

O God.
No.

And she knows
bc she had been told
Pick him, , again, ,
and I'm gone,
let him hurt you,
fool you,
use you,
one.more.time
And I'm gone
Pick him and leave me
, , again, ,
And I'm GONE

Suddenly she feels the razor sharp pain
as the shards of her heart pierce her lungs

She understands
