Saath-saath so rahe hain ab
sukoon-e-maut mein woh...

Jab tak jeena tha
mar-mar ke jeete rahe
ek dooje ko bechaen
karte hue...

Ladte hue, tadapte hue,
berukhe ek rishte ke -
sisakte palon mein
lambi, kaali raaton ke
veeraan andheron mein
maut ke saaye
dhoondte hue...


(now they sleep together in peaceful death; while they lived...to each other, they were a source of mutual conflict and restlessness)

Dedicated to the graves of a famous Bollywood couple of the yesteryears - That Golden Era of Hindi Cinema.

Though they had a love marriage but their relationship was very stormy. This specific case could also be generalized.

It may hold true for many such every day couples who led a marital life full of strife, and now lie in peace, buried together in their graves.
