Mitsubishi offers the AZ breaker for turning aluminum and cooper alloys. The AZ breaker high rake angle and polished corrugated chip breaker geometry ensures smooth chip flow, low cutting forces and excellent surface finishes in aluminum and a range of non-ferrous materials.
The AZ breaker is available in CCGT, DCGT, TCGT and VCGT geometries with standard tool nose radius's ranging from .008 up .093". For applications that require a button insert, round RCGT inserts are available in 8 and 10mm diameters.
