Allysyn Bryant - *`Opening Old Wounds

He's been just round the corner....
At the back of mind...
He's always there..
Was always there.

Although It's been over a year now
He's still in my heart
Although I don't love Him Like I once did
Part of me still does

I ask myself now..
Do I love him still?
or Do I love who he use to be?
I suppose the heart never forgets love.

It's like Salt on an Opened Wound
Words were exchanged
I think we both hurt that night
Then I watched him leave in the morning light

But this time I didn't say stop
I didn't say Don't Go
I simply let him leave
Not saying a word I turned away

Now I sit here trying Not to remember..
All the times we shared..
The memories that we made..
And then realize that they'll always be there..
