Lie in the darkness
With no sight or sound
All there is, is pain
In which I am bound

All I can think is
“what if this could end? ”
I want to be real
I can’t stand to pretend

But nothing exists
It never will
For all I know is darkness
That is all that is real

Is there a way out?
Can you find it for me?
I need to find light
I want to be free

Free from the darkness,
Free from the pain
Happiness I want to restore
Life I want to gain
