ready for the morning
waiting for me to arrive
to freshen my morning

coffee is your name
made with the finest of beans
grown at higher altitudes
for a more distinctive taste
wow!

I take you in my hand
a heavenly aroma fills the air
slowly I remove your lid
I take you between my lips
what a taste, yebo
splash of strong caffeine
to shock me into gear
for the morning's work ahead
and I love it, yes I am

Praise God for the taste of coffee
