Water baths can be dangerous for your hamster so it's best to avoid bathing them in water a great alternative is using a sand bath! Make sure when purchasing sand it says Sand not Dust and Powder as that can cause respiratory infections. You can also buy children's play sand and sanitize it to use, here's a video on how to sanitize it
