World full of turmoil
Everything is changing
lives lost too early
Dreams neverfullfilled

Comet over head
Is it pulling us akilter
Whats making everything
Fall on its side

Do you feel the uncertainty
The tears welling up
Want to just miss today
Hope tomorrow brings a change

Faced death today
Held a friend while he grieved
Felt the pain from a young life gone
Before he could become a man

Two lives gone so close together
How my heart pains
Will there be a third
Before the sunrise.
