Depression is a dark place
Where the world around you
Is cold and full of distress

You sigh
You no longer laugh
You no longer smile
You feel enraged
You feel lost
You feel sad
You feel hopeless
You feel alone
You just sit and look
You don’t communicate with companions
You don’t have fun anymore

And you wonder if you’ll regain your life

Depression can be tough
But don’t let it get the best of you
Push, push back
Go to a happy place

A place with a beautiful waterfall
A blue sky with white fluffy clouds
Radiant green grass
Singing birds
Whistling winds
And fish in the water

It is possible to dream a scene
To shatter that broken heart
Don’t worry if you’re not there yet
Because eventually you will get there
