Wash me clean of the past eight years
Wash me clean of all these tears
The regrets - pain - loneliness and fears
Smash my fist against this mirror

How could these years be all in vain
How could these tears pour down like rain
How can you stand there in quiet refrain
How can my existence be your bane

Well you and your mother have taken my all
You and your lies like you’re in it for the long haul
You and your hatred have shattered these walls
It’s you and only you who has let me fall

And now here we are with guns in our hands
Facing each other making one last stand
You raise your arm slightly but you misunderstand
That I will shoot straight faced, tight lipped, steady hand
