The walls came crashing down
all the memories singed
around the edges

All the tears
poured to the ground
in a silent
vigil
for something
that had never existed

The reverie of
what I called my life

Dull little daggers
creating hairline cracks
in my very core

Weakening my soul
irrevocably

The weight
and pressure
are not even
something I desire
once more

I cannot say
what it is
i'm looking for

I am hurt
in need
you broke me

I cannot speak

I'm still broken
