ALI CAMPBELL (UB40) live @ Main Stage 2011

Ali Campbell has been for almost 30 years UB40’s solo singer, important English experience coming from Birmingham, that with a mix or reggae and pop has reached extraordinary levels of popularity world-wide. In many cases UB40 has been the first reggae group to perform in countries where the upbeat music was almost unheard.

From 2008 Ali left his band and started his solo career and his third album “Running free” has been a great success thanks to the cooperation of some artists like Shaggy, Craig David, Lady Saw, Gentleman and other prestigious artists. During his solo concerts his versions of some UB40 classics sang by him like “One in Ten”,”Red Red Wine”, “Don’t Break My Heart” and”‘Can’t Help Falling In Love” never lack.
