Alfred Ramos - Starry Starry Night

Stars are like footprints on heaven's floor
The moon is like a giant gate to heaven's door
Why they come out at night is no mystery
There is no glare, no distractions, only ecstasy
Our eyes search in wonder for that far away star
Not knowing this special place where we already are
Yet we explore the heavens throughout the night
Hoping that our moonlight wish will make everything right
We are not guardians, but a temporary guest
To bring home dreams, a goal of our midnight quest
