Alfred Ramos - Conversaton With Myself
7 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
My heart aches for company
Tonight I met the woman of my dreams
But I was only sleeping
I knew when I awakened she would be gone
Now I’m talking to myself till dawn
I search deep into my soul and find emptiness
A river of tears run down my the crevices of my cheeks
More proof that no answer will appear
Now dreams don’t raise my spirit
They tease me like a silver tongue devil
So what do I say to myself?
Get off the shelf and bend some rules
Stop living the life of a fool
Clear the mirror of unwanted fog
See myself for who I really am
Fill my mind with healthy thoughts
And stop talking to myself
