A toast!
My dear friend Loneliness,
To whom I’ve been a most humble guest,
In times of pain and darkness
Your hospitality has proven best.

To sorrow,
Always eager to lend an ear
And ease the woe.
Our friendship is dear,
As you well know.

Betrayal!
Here’s to an old friend indeed.
A friend anyone can trust.
For any old friend in need,
This companion is a must.

And to love,
I mustn’t forget,
For without whom,
None of us would have met.
