Alex Fischer - The Conflict

In every person there is a conflict
Twixt heart and mind
We try to find a way to solve it
One that we will never find

The conflict grows when mixed with love
And the conflict dies when you go above
No matter what you try
The conflict will never die

It may drive you insane
Or it may cause you to blame
Your heart or your mind
Which ever you happen to use at that time

But my friends I say to you
With ever so thinking mind
Do not listen to either
Because both of them lie
