Is that a shadow hiding at the edge of darkness?
Frighten, your senses sharpen.
Is that a movement by the cold, grey head stones?
Groaning, you realizing this was not the best way home.

and your steps begin to quicken.

You hear his seductive call of an eternal love,
he whispers secrets in your mind of a dark lust.
Promising you a world of night,
as he steps out into the moonlight.

Such a vision of beauty,
with lips as red as rubies,
and eyes so beguiling.
Why are you smiling?

Then, the mist starts to thicken

You feel his presence at your back,
as your body goes slack.
He wraps you in his cloak,
his breath caresses your throat.

Then, the mist starts to thicken
and your heart begins to quicken.

Your blood he begins to take
and you realize to late.
That with a simple twist of fate,
a vampire he did create.

Then, the mist starts to thicken,
as you hunt for your first victim.
