Victory of Reason

I was a heavy smoker for thirty years.
Even I was getting sort of forty cigarrettes a day.
Almost five years ago I got divorced an my father died.
The art school I've used to have for 20 years was forced to close down.
I' had a nervous breakdown and lost my ten year job a t a Call Center.
At the lowest point believeing I had no other choice, two years ago, I've went to bed
after opening the gas faucets at home. But my luck and resources were so bad that I've
ran out of gas without dying actually.
So now life is not better. I'm still fighting depression but try to fight a better war.
This is my story, not inspiring, not extraordinary and certainly not amusing or with a
happy ending or a lot of wisdom involved.
It's just me, but for some reason I believe ther is a reason to keep record of what will
happen.
If depression has the upper hand or me.

La victoria de la Razón
Yo solía ser un fumador empedernido los últimos treinta años, en algún momento llegué a consumir poco mas de cuarenta cigarrillos al día.
Casi hace cinco años me divorcié y mi padre falleció.
La escuela de artes que mantuve funcionando dos décadas tuve que cerrarla por falta de interés de la gente.
Llegué a un colapso nervioso y perdí mi empleo luego de diez años de trabajo en un Call Center.
En el fondo de la depresión creyendo ya no tener alternativas hace dos años me fui a acostar luego de dejar abiertas las llaves del gas.
Tan malos eran mi suerte y recursos que se acabó el gas sin que me sucediera nada.
LA vida en la actualidad no ha mejorado, sigo combatiendo la depresión pero al menos trato de combatir una mejor batalla.
Ésta es mi historia. No es inspiradora, no es extraordinaria y en realidad no encanta con un sorpresivo final feliz o una moraleja llena de sabiduría.
Sólo soy yo, pero por alguna razón creo que vale la pena conservar un recuento de aquello que ocurra .
Si ha de vencer la depresión o yo.
