Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) wishes to further intensify its cooperation with the liberal democratic contacts in the immediate EU neighbourhood. This public hearing will be focused on the situation and perspectives for the Republic of Moldova on its path to greater European integration. ALDE MEP`s will debate together with the representatives of liberal parties from the Republic of Moldova efficient ways to strengthen the relations between EU and the Republic of Moldova.

It is of great importance to ensure that co-operation with the European Union institutions can offer citizens of Moldova tangible and sustainable perspectives for the future. In this regard ALDE is of the opinion that increased dialogue with the political actors in the country can contribute to the greater understanding, constructive discussions and broader awareness of the problems Republic of Moldova and its citizen face.
