Consider the while
tick… tock
Stop the clock
draw the curtain
paint the line
take your places one last time
No more standards
No more tasks
behind the hour hands changing mask
gather numbers in a bag
not to repeat that dreadful slant
down the face of forbidden hell…….
tick……..
tock…….
To drift in sleep would be so sweet
but relentless time no mercy shows
just watch how fast the leader goes.
