Someone once said
time heals all pain
but what can it do
when you're dying in vane?

It may dry a tear
but it cant make you see
erase whats been done
bring you back to me

My cold empty bed
it dont put you there,
let me kiss your lips,
run fingers through your hair.

It don't close the distance
of twelve hundred miles,
put me in your heart,
let me have your smiles.

It dont take new pictures
of us at our best.
All that its doing
is laying our love to rest.
