Alaa ... - colorless

how could colors be so colorless
why is the sun so sad and pale
how could people bear such nonsense
of words that never dare to change
how could rain drops be so sour
warm and salty like tears
poor hearts secure no more
hidden under low roofs or fear
listening to storms and thunders
of trapped melodies and poems of anger
waiting for the sun to shine
not knowing that with hiding
the sun never appears
