Alaa ... - A new year

a new morning has come
with a golden sun and a rose
last night has gone
and old pages closed
i can feel it within me new
bright...fresh and true
no matter how bad you feel
sense the hope in the air
there must be someone there
someone you will wake up for
someone who gives you the rose
someone sharing you a laugh and a tear
and telling you 'happy new year! '
i think i was wrong about it
it should always be a 'happy' new year
