Akina Tran - Crystal Ocean

Looking out at the Crystal ocean
watching its waves recede back and fourth
like a waterfall or a carpet rolling out
the golden shine of the sun
beating down on my head
the warm feel of sand
between my toes
the smack of the wind blew my hair out
like a twister and the loud
calls of the seagulls
sound faint
everytime they fly farther
the ocean
to me
is the place
to
be
