Cry the violins of dawn
on the strings of empty skies;
the song of sorrow, hope and love -
solitude starved of affection,
of a heart frozen in time and forgotten,
lonelier than ever and tired of life...

When thoughts in the skull have their dwelling place
and the rivers of thy soul flood with thine emotions -
emerging from beneath the vast ocean,
glory awoken
hath come to sing - and falleth with the rain
overpowering beauty upon thy head;
silent in thy pain, oh existence unloved -
callest thou my name and I burn with indignation
as the castles of my dreams destroyed lie beneath thy feet
and on ruins of my past I build my own defeat!

Dance, oh heart, and in oblivion lose thyself -
music of the universe embrace as thy mourning song;
thy grave adorn with stars and into the shadows disappear!
In the great battlefield of the world, remain strong
and fear not whatever is there to come...
