Airlines Raise Bag Fees
Description
Delta and Southwest raised checked bag fees by $10, setting first bag at $45 and second at $55, as jet fuel hit $4.69/gallon — up 88% since February 28th. United and JetBlue raised fees last week as the entire industry passes rising fuel costs to passengers amid the ongoing Strait of Hormuz closure.
