Aircraft has close call with lightning while navigating heavy storm in the sky

Keaton had his phone camera active at the right place at the right time.

"There was a bad storm, so I decided to film the airplanes flying through it from where I could see them," Keaton told WooGlobe. "And one of them got hit by lightning."

He manages to capture a clear view of the plane as it has a dangerously close encounter with the lightning.

One can only imagine the state of mind of those on board. After all, witnessing a thunderstorm from the sky must be nothing short of a nightmare.
