The Airborne Astronomy Ambassadors (AAA) program is a professional development program aspiring to improve teaching, inspire students, and inform the community. Flying into the stratosphere on the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy, SOFIA, enables these educators to experience astronomical research first-hand and encourage their students to study Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
