AIMPLB optimistic after SC hearing on Waqf act

Lucknow (UP), April 16, 2025 (ANI): Over hearing on Waqf Act in SC, member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali said," As far as Waqf Amendment Act 2025 case in Supreme Court is concerned, all the proceeding in the court were very interesting and I think it was on a positive line. The court, in its observation, said that it would examine all the things in the light of the Constitution. After this observation, we are confident that in view of the religious freedom guaranteed in the Constitution will be restored. The court has also said that all the Waqf properties that are already notified should not be denotified."
