I used to find comfort in your love,
now it makes me curl away.
Your hugs that used to seem so soft,
have rendered me afraid.
The smiles that you would flash me,
have all but turned to stone.
Your eyes that could always console me,
now chill my very bones.
I hear those words escape your lips,
they only make me cry.
Those words that used to touch me,
seem to be your only lies.
Where did the happiness all go;
how did it fade away?
I only wanted to be with you,
I wanted you to stay.
I have finally found the strength
to continue without you.
I have finally found the courage
to say 'I don't love you.'
