Aidan Nielsen - Light

A smile fads over ages,
they all get locked up in cages,
the severity ranges,
I want my smile back,
back from the thick black,
the thick black caused by depression,
as you travel the light lessens,
depression always lurks,
feeding at the bottom of the murks,
to get out of the thick black depression,
where pain truly teaches you a lesson,
you must dig deeper,
until you find that little keeper,
of light you must hold it with great fright,
because without that light,
you just might, start a fight,
inside oneself,
that small little light,
is something special,
one would walk a 100 mile,
just to get there smile.
