Why cant’s we just live in harmony
And build a world full of peace and love?
Why do we all disagree so often?
Is it because we like a continuous argument?

Do our instincts encourage us
To nurture a little grievance
Until it grows up to be
A fully fledged feud?

Conflicts are interesting, engaging
And energizing, aren’t they?
Perhaps we’re enjoying the challenge?
Why we just don’t swiftly solve it?
